Fortunately, we have a solution that has been utilized since creation; gravity. Sure, we use pumps when we have to, but gravity has proven itself. It works during the worst downfall. Lightning is nothing. Power outages affect it not one bit. So, unless we have to go up-hill, good design almost always dictates the simple and effective use of gravity.
